Pancakes & Booze

Pancakes & Booze

Picture this: Pancakes sizzlin', beers flowin', and art slappin' the walls like it's the Sistine Chapel. Hundreds, sometimes thousands, of wild childs chowing down on unlimited pancakes and losing their minds to live DJs and body painting.

This ain't no snoozefest, highfalutin art show for the elite. It's a revolutionary, balls-to-the-wall reimagining of the art experience. A safe space for new artists and musicians to unleash their raw talent in an anything-goes, free-for-all environment.

Join the biggest damn pop-up art extravaganza to shake North America in the past decade! We're 14 years deep, serving up piping hot FREE PANCAKES and unleashing the freshest talent this nation has to offer.

This LA-born bash exploded onto the scene in 2009 and has since brought the ruckus to 40+ cities across Europe & North America over 500 times.

San Francisco Pride

San Francisco Pride

‘For 54 years our LGBTQ+ community has gathered on the anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall uprising to demonstrate to the world who we are and what we stand for. We have marched to demand our rights and freedoms, and we have marched to honor our dead-–all the while celebrating our lives and loves in an explosion of queer joy and creativity.

We hope you will make plans to attend San Francisco Pride this year, whether for your first time ever, or for the first time in a long time. With hard-won LGBTQ freedoms being stripped away, and oppression of our people growing ever more extreme across the globe, we must all come together to demonstrate our resolve to be unapologetically queer.’

Oaklash is dedicated to building new and ever-expanding stages to showcase & elevate Bay Area queer talent. Our programming aims to create safe and accessible environments that celebrate the queer community, especially queer and trans people of color. Our organization was created to showcase performances that are boundary pushing, provocative, and unique to the sensibility of the Bay Area. We aim to stay true to the history of Oakland as a home to creative renaissance rooted in diversity. We hope that by amplifying and supporting the queer art community in the Bay Area, we can emphasize the need for investment in the arts in the face of systemic racism, growing economic disparities, and the Bay Area housing crisis.
